This is the healing work that has allowed me to go from "Rez to Riches" as I've been joking...
I say that very tongue-in-cheek because living on the Rez as an Indigenous woman is something to be proud of, not comparable to "Rags" but that IS what many people think of it!
My family still lives on a First Nations reserve and I still consider it my home. But I moved to the city when I was 17 to pave the way for other Indigenous women who want to pursue their biggest dreams- on or off reserve.
So far, I've built a coaching business from the ground up ($0-$58K in year ONE), I host a top podcast, published a best selling book, have landed prestigious speaking gigs that pay 4 figures and just accepted a dream job (empowering Urban Indigenous families) where I negotiated the top range salary & the WFH benefits I wanted.
And I am just getting started ;)...
I wake up pinching myself every day that I get to do work that lights me up and live a truly RICH life.
