I work at the intersection of decolonization and personal development. I've work in antiracism, decolonization and indigenization in health care, academia (communications) and now I'm bringing this much needed work to the coaching industry!
Having navigated the personal development world for over 10 years and being a coach for over 3 years, I've seen and experienced the power of this work. I believe we all could use a mentor or coach to support us with massive transformations in our life! But as a First Nations woman, something was always missing for me...
The lens of decolonization and antiracism.
As a white-presenting woman with mixed settler ancestry, I realized my medicine is that I can understand and see both sides - the Indigenous pain and the white guilt. This is what allows me to meet European-settler friends with compassion, grace and patience- so here we are!
The Decolonized Coach Course (now- Community) was created to allow decolonization to not just be a metaphor but to give you specific, tangible ways to adjust or build your coaching business on a foundation of justice, equity and inclusion.
